Taste

The Red Label is a premium expression crafted especially for the Japanese Export Market, matured for an additional two years with Mash Bill #2. Its nose is a delightful blend of fruity sweetness, featuring bright hints of cherries, rich caramel, dried oak, honey, and vanilla. On the palate, you’ll discover subtle hints of fennel, licorice, ginseng, dry citrus peel, and cinnamon, culminating in a smooth finish with powerful oak influence, honey, herbs, and allspice. A true gem for those with a red label on hand.

Straight From The Barrel stands as one of the greatest bourbons globally, offering a bold cask strength experience. Its high alcohol by volume invites a deep, complex flavor profile that is rarely found. The nose is bold and savory with dominant hints of smoke, earthy walnuts, hazelnut, and a warm buttery mouthfeel. On the palate, expect subtle hints of honey, rye, and spices, leading to a strong, bold finish with delicate nuances of chocolatey espresso, honey, and spice.

The Gold Label, created for bourbon connoisseurs, is celebrated for its exceptional smoothness and rich finish. Crafted with Mash Bill #2 and matured in American White Oak casks, this bourbon is hand-bottled from the best casks at the distillery. Its nose features sweet and sour notes of bright citrus, cotton candy, cinnamon, honey, and tropical fruit. Upon tasting, you'll encounter layers of dark fudge, citrus, oak, and heavy cream, combined with the spiciness of extra rye and a touch of pepper. The finish is warm and rich with notes of cinnamon.

History

This bundle is steeped in history, tracing its origins back to 1984 under the expert guidance of Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee at the George T. Stagg Distillery, now Buffalo Trace. Inspired by Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton's meticulous selection from Warehouse H, the only metal-clad warehouse at the distillery, these bourbons have become synonymous with unmatched quality. Each bottle features unique horse stoppers introduced in 1999, spelling out "B-L-A-N-T-O-N'-S" and depicting different stages of a horse race. Collectors often cherish these stoppers, and while some letters seem elusive, Blanton's assures equal production of each every year.
